Alan Duncan

Alan joins Forward-Solutions following a successful career with AspenTech, the leading supply chain and manufacturing software provider to the process industry. Alan has worked with clients such as BP Chemicals, Shell Europe Oil Products, Bridgestone-Firestone, Akzo Nobel, Baxter Healthcare, Wedgwood and Müller to design and implement supply chain improvements that continue to deliver significant financial and qualitative benefits.

Before joining AspenTech, Alan managed the supply chain planning for the Wedgwood Group, the premium gift and tableware company. In this role Alan also implemented improved processes and systems that delivered benefits such as 50% reduction in lead-time and substantial reductions in inventory. Prior to Wedgwood Alan successfully implemented supply chain process and systems improvements with two divisions of Motorola and with NCR.

Alan has a B.Eng.(Hons), in Production Engineering & Management from Strathclyde University, Glasgow and a P.G.Dip. in Information Technology from Napier University, Edinburgh.
