Richard Porter

Richard joins Forward-Solutions following a successful career with AspenTech where he started as a project engineer, working on the design and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems for customers such as ICI, DuPont, SmithKline Beecham and Samsung. Later, as an analyst he worked closely with such clients as GSK, ICI, Carlsberg-Tetley, Ineos, and Muller to define and implement a significant number of highly successful Manufacturing Execution Systems.

Previous to joining AspenTech, Richard worked for National Power, employing software applications to monitor and analyse power station performance. Prior to this he carried out research work for Rover Group whilst studied for his Masters Degree.

Richard has an M.Sc.(distinction) in Information Technology for Manufacture from Warwick University and a B.Sc.(Hons) in Engineering from Durham University.
